When you say racist are attracted to police work your putting the cart in front of the horse. Policing doesnt attract racist it creates them. In the same way the constant exposure to unreal body image that women get from all types of media which sets them up to behave in a certain way, and do all types of things they wouldnt have ordinarily done to meet the demands that society puts on them, so is it for the people who work within the justice system. The constant exposure to the worst elements of society on a daily basis, the criminal element gives people who work in the criminal justice system a completely skewed few of society as a whole. This lends everyone from law enforcement, to judges, court clerks, probation officers, bailiffs, bail bondsmen, attornies, correction officers to lose all perspective or empathy. This is why when the general population witnesses what appears to be brutality or profiling or peoples rights being violated were godsmacked. We sit in our homes and observe all this and we say , my God, their all racists. You no what, they are all racists. They werent born that way, but theyve ended up that way. This is reality and this is the way it is in every city of every state in the United States. ~Kevin McDermott ~
