When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch u ---negativity will leave you, once you put out positivity. just like darkness disappears in the presence of light, be a light so strong that all lies and evil crumble in your presence. And not only will you be rid of the demons in your path, but will also have the honor to illuminate others with your fire. (And usually the people with the most light are the ones darkness is attracted too! so dont get discouraged) and remember-- even the darkness is from G-d and every obstacle in our lives is for our benefit.
