When youre at ground zero of a news story, as with the tragic baby shooting a year ago, its hard to gauge how its playing to the rest of the country. Im wondering, this ridiculous batch of legislation that Georgia is passing helter-skelter (taking us back to the good old days of discrimination, allowing guns everywhere, bending over backward to block healthcare from its citizens, etc.) – is that making national news? How is it playing in Oregon? Peoria? Are we the laughing stock of the nation?
