Whenever BJP loses a state (or even some constituencies) badly, the poll Pundits and election Experts used to declare that it was *tactical voting* by Muslims (or sometimes Minorities, Dalits and OBCs even when there is absolutely no sign of such alliance) to keep the communal and fascist BJP out. This is to create the impression about the *power* of the solid consolidated votes of Muslims.. But no similar theories or even guesses were given for the royal defeat of Congress/NCP and their abysmal fall to 3rd/4th positions. BJP winning 119 seats in a 288 seat Maharashtra Assembly, 71 more than last time (and that is more than the total 65 that Shiv sena won) is in itself very significant, in spite of not getting full majority. Shiva Sena coming second, in a natural position to fill that gap shows the amazing tact of the MH voter. The emphatic message from the MH Assembly results is that the voters have unequivocally rejected Congress and its clones, and all hues of pseudo secularism, Muslim appeasement and corruption. They voted strongly and totally in favor of Hindutva and BJP brand of development agenda. If this is not a tactical voting of the Maharashtra voters, what is it? But much of the media, still infested with Congress and p-sec elements wont say it, because for them even a mere mention of *Hindu consolidation* and *Hindu Sangathan* reflecting in voting patterns should be avoided, even when that is emerging as a national trend, reflecting in many political, social, cultural changes.. So much for the neutral media.
