Whenever Bob Hope performed... you’d usually hear his signature song...‘Thanks for the Memories’. If you’re like me...you probably have a whole gallery of memories...they’re kind of our internal filing system. When I pause and walk down the corridors of my memory...an overabundance of emotions and feelings surface. I think about and remember what God has done in me, thru me and for me...and sometimes in SPITE of me....and I am so thankful. Life’s experiences provide memories...sometimes they’re good and sometimes not....I’m even thankful for the difficult ones because God has and IS using those experiences and memories... to help others and to remind me that He never walks me to...what He won’t walk me through...and that He never wastes a hurt. God is using my experiences and memories to help mold and shape me into what HE has in mind....and it’s always for my good....so...I don’t know what other life events God has over the horizon...I don’t know what lies ahead... But for today on this Thankful Thursday I just want to say.... ‘thanks for the memories’.
