Whens the last time you saw God do something great? Whens the last time God did something great through you? God is still in the doing something great business. The difference is his people. God gave instructions to Joshua to march around the city of Jericho seven times and on the seventh time have the trumpets sound and the people to let out a great shout and the walls will fall down. There were a lot of people involved in Gods plan and the only way it worked was for them to work together. Joshua called all of the people together and shared Gods plan with them. They all worked together in unison to accomplish Gods will. The church could learn something from this passage today. How hard it is to get everyone to agree on a vision for the church. It seems that there is always someone who opposes the direction God has called the church to go. God is still in the doing great things business, but the church needs to get back into the being obedient to God business. When we decide to do things Gods way instead of our way, well see great walls fall down.
