Where do you draw the line, where do you stop, where or what do - TopicsExpress

Where do you draw the line, where do you stop, where or what do you continue...these were my thoughts as I walked the streets of Edinburgh with my hubby. Beautiful place, attracting so many tourists from all walks of life and from all over the world, coming to experience historic buildings, experience and learn about the Scottish heritage. I stood next to husband and wife in a shop - who literally purchased one of everything in the shop... it made me smile to see these people enjoying their visit and then I walked out of the door and on my left was a young man begging and then a few more feet away was another young man begging ..... and then i saw another man stooding with his head in a bucket that said yes I am standing on my head in a bucket and you are laughing, I dont mind you laughing at me, im homeless, living on the streets - laugh at me but help me get food... son many homeless people and then we saw so many people busking; we even saw a young lad with a full drum kit.. all of them one way or the other were looking to make a raise. You saw how easy it was for some to give to one- than it was to give to another... To be honest I found that part of my day overwhelming... surrounded by such beauty and yet so much ugliness, sourrounded by so much wealth and yet so much poverty...... It actually took me back to when to when I went to the Dream Centre in LA where the level of madness was on a wjole new level... the only difference I saw today was that it was hidden amongst so much beauty & wealth. So much need on all levels, we see the obvious (but what about the not so obvious, which is a whole new conversation). So where do you draw the line, where do you stop, where or what do you continue.... again I was reminded of this truth....I dont think its just about drawing the line, or stopping or working out what to conitnue .... i think if its in your ability to do good, then do good - which can look different to different people .... but do Good, expressing and extending love one to another ♡♥ Matthew 25:35-36 AMP For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. [Isa. 58:7.] When it is in our ability to do good, lets do good....#smileencouragefeedgivealiftbuyfoodlistenhaveaconversation
