Where is Jim Cramer? After interviewing GOGOs CEO and came up with rosy recommendation, GOGO stock initially surged but then faded badly and hit a new low after disappointed earning announcement. Just last week, knowing that Hertz has disclosed its accounting issues and various operational problems, Cramer still recommended the stock by saying the company is in turn-around mode and its accounting issues amounted to no more than just a few minor depreciation adjustments after he discussed with several legal experts. CNBC has trumpeted Cramer to a point that Jim can do no wrong. But the danger is often when you are riding tide too high, the next disaster is waiting to happen. I recalled years ago in Jims show when he listed all those dysfunctional CEOs in his column if CEOs Hall of Shame. That chart did serve viewers well, because occasionally if no one keeps scores, the hero gets no applaud while losers keeps collecting his tenure and flying high with golden parachute and ultimately to Jims ignorance, investors gets slammed. Only praising cross the board with no distinction, Jim has deviated from his sacred mission to tell good from bad and eventually he would lose his credibility to his frequent viewers like me. Its time for Jim to use his voice again to get Hertz CEO off his gravy train and let someone like Avis CEO to take the helm and breath some life into its stock.
