....Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever- widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake. On this Independence Day....As a teacher I remind myself these words by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Also on this day when I celebrate our Independence, I think about those innocent people, who are living a life of fear,pain and suffering. May peace prevail on Earth. Happy Independence Day.
