Where was I in 1977? Well, in May of that year, I was dying in Southside Hospital. Yes, 1977 was quite a memorable year for me. I was 16 years old for almost all of that year, and I must say that it was mostly a good year, except for the passing of my grandmother (and Elvis), and the start of The Carter Administration. Son of Sam was a dark spot on that year, more so because I lived near The City. The best part of that year for me was Star Wars and surviving that near-death experience.
