Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12 KJV Read: Philipians 2:12-15 Its not an easy road says a song writer while describing our journey and the route that leads to eternal life in Christ Jesus. Truly the journey before us is great and you can never compare it with any on the earth. You must therefore run this race with patience, watching and praying till we finally rest at the bosom of the Lord according to His promise to those who believe. On the other hand, you will find it easy to mingle with the world of sin because the principles of the devil are cheap and to gain eternal life in the lake of fire all you need to do is listen to what the devil has to offer through lust and worldliness. My brethren, you will not end in hell in Jesus mighty name. Please be careful with the way you live on this earth. This is just a passage and not the destination. We are going to a place that is made of gold...Halleluyah. Be prepared, get ready and move on without looking back. We shall end it well in Jesus mighty name. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36 KJV Are you genuinely saved and redeemed from your sins? If yes, I congratulate you greatly. But listen to this; you still have a long way to go. You need to sustain, maintain and retain this grace that you have received from the Lord. The assignment is watch and pray. No man will watch out for you. This is solely your responsibility if you truly want to end this race at the feet of Christ. Guard the loins of your heart and be ready at all times to be presentable to God. That He might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27. Keep your salvation from every spiritual intruder. Stay with the Lord in prayers and direct intimacy. Watch your secret life especially when no one sees you to ascertain if God is really there. You are either doing fine with God or operating in secret sins. Be careful never to lower the standard. Keep the word of the Lord both in secret and amongst others. What you do while you are alone says much about your true colour, character and personality. If your ways are not right before God this morning, this is another opportunity to right your wrongs and be free from every entanglement of sin and the world of iniquity. I pray for you this day that the enemy will not succeed over your soul in Jesus mighty name.
