This is the first step in the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to assess the resources of a community through a capacity inventory. Facilitated by World Vision Group, trainers from Indonesia and Sabah will take participants through the process to facilitate and get the best out of communities. WHAT. A half-day community asset mapping workshop to help communities take stock of their inherent assets. WHY. Needs based solutions is short term and seldom becomes institutionalised, asset mapping helps communities harness their own community asset for long lasting and sustainable solutions. WHO.
