Whew! Found it!!! Thought I lost this on my phone and never to find again...the link for the real stroy was so long I lost track of where I found it (FB challenged is all, at times....)! This isnt about Ferguson btw but makes great points about what officers face every day. Have you ever faced down another with your finger on the trigger, ready to pull, only to rely on your restraint and training and belief that they will FINALLY understand you want them to stop reaching for the gun in the glovebox? I have...Blackbird parking lot and I even moved to make sure I didnt shoot through the driver who was obeying my emergency Spanish word for word. Its much more about leadership, decisive action, and fighting to the end even when you dont know when or what that end might be. Read the story and internalize the lessons.
