Whew, I’m tiring all ready. Yesterday was a whirlwind of trying to catch up on stuff and also get ahead. This morning was farmer’s market for corn, potatoes, and melon. I just got our green beans cleaned and ready to blanch and freeze. I don’t like frozen beans, but the production slowed down and with being gone a bit, etal, we lost the oldest ones (they got tough and chewy). The last we picked are still ok, but we no longer have enough for even the 9 pints the canner will hold. Once I get all that done, I need to cut up that melon or Gordon won’t bother with it, then I need to replace the parts in the carpet shampooer; pump, bridge rectifier and solenoid. Hopefully that will do it but I don’t see actually using it today. Enough is enough. Someone should be out mowing too, but I don’t see that one happening either. :)
