Whew! Max and I were walking down our street and just about stepped on a cottonmouth! I saw him before Max did, thank God. Went and got Gil and asked him for a shovel, snake was slithering on his driveway. He ran to the shed and got a shovel. Snake tried to bite him....boy you could see that white mouth when he did. Thankfully no one got bit and snake is chopped up into 3 pieces now...Yep..That time of year. Reckon Ill be walking Max at night with my big mag light from now on!
