While APC is celebrating defection of members of the ruling party PDP to their party, they are getting stabbed from one of their stronghold. I just got a press release announcing a massive defection of APC members to PDP.in Nasarawa State including the State Deputy Governor. This is preparing grounds for the Minister of Information & Supervising Minister of Defense Hon. Labaran Maku to contest for the Office of the Governor in 2015. Maku who is a kinsman of the dreaded Obatse Cult is beginning to take over as the Eggon ethnic group have been left out since the creation of the state despite their population and having the most qualified candidates to occupy political office by virtue of educational exposure. It has amazed me over time that despite the governor been voted on the platform of the defunct CPC, only 4 members of the State House of Assembly are members of his party. None of the members moved except the former governor who seem to have lost relevance in the state. Date for the defections is on sat: 1st March 2014.
