While CHED is thinking of scrapping Filipino subjects from the higher education curricula to produce English-speaking mass labor force qualified for overseas jobs, theyre actually exploiting and limiting the range of jobs OFWs can fit into that in time will no longer be needed in foreign industries. Remember that were now heading to the Digital Age or Information Age and exiting the prime of traditional/heavy industrial age. Filipino professionals, sadly, are still not cutouts for the developments and changing of the demands of the world because CHED hasnt put much into investing personal visits to secondary schools in the country. Oftentimes, the strategies in the career counseling market are hype, boom bass entertainment, freebies after each session and gorgeous young ladies in skirts to entice you.
