While I appreciated being able to see a documentary about the great fantasy artist Frank Frazetta - I had a poster of his Spiderman on my wall as a teen, and his artwork for THE GAUNTLET is still my desktop background - and there are some decent interviews interspersed throughout, I think it could have been put together better, and I feel the filmmakers rather wasted their meagre budget by including clips from CONAN THE BARBARIAN when when well chosen stills or frame grabs would have worked probably better, and also going to the trouble of trying to bring some of Frazettas art to life, something that adds nothing to the film. The picture quality is also lacking, meaning the viewer doesnt get to see the paintings as well as they might wish to, though maybe most have at least a couple of Frazetta books on their shelves at home...I should probably try to rectify such an absence from my collection.
