While I completely and utterly disagree with this woman’s views on gay rights, I’m not really sure I’m comfortable with boycotting a business…. before they even open… based on an owner’s personal beliefs. There are many, many business owners with whom I most likely disagree with on a wide variety of issues. I do my very best to support local businesses and businesses that share my world-view, but this is taking it to a whole new level. I think it’s a bit unfair for the poster of this video to (bore us with their terribly produced video. Seriously. It was awful. I wish I had those 7 minutes back) call for a boycott of a business before they have even opened. I also don’t appreciate how they seem to think it’s their job to pre-screen the businesses that come into our neighborhood. “Be exactly like us or don’t bother doing business here!” Were a smart enough community to make decisions on our own. If they open and prove to be bigots in business as they are accused to be in person, then well make sure they quickly go out of business. To hide behind a YouTube account and demand a business not open is no better than denying service to people because youre a creepy bible banger.
