While I know some little girls who will not be happy about this news, it is good news. Many of you know how up and down Nugget has been for the past month or two. Last week I decided that he was not going to be able to do more than the smallest of children and really needs to retire. Now for the happy news, Courtney Parrish has agreed to take him. Courtney is a former student who took lessons here from the age of 8 until she was, I believe, around 15. She is also the vet tech for my vet and does the daily care for Dr. Cokers horses. Nugget will be the babysitter for Courtneys beautiful two year old daughter Lily. Hopeful he will be able to be her leadline horse and move on to her walk trot teacher. Courtney has already started mothering Nugget and I know he will be in great hands. While Im not sure when he is going he WILL be here for Tiny Trotters on Tuesday so that some of his favorite little girls can give him a retirement party. Courtney has also said he can come back and visit on occasion so its not really goodby! Im so grateful for this great outcome, thank you Courtney Parrish and God
