While Im in Ireland for the Ladbrokes Vincent Delaney Memorial Racing Weekend at Portmarnock Raceway, there will be a charity auction and two of our sports leading drivers gave me major goodies for the fundraiser! Im taking over the pond a set of autographed colors by Corey Callahan and Tim Tetrick AND autographed bobble head dolls from the superstars! The charity event benefits The Pieta House, a center for the prevention of self-harm or suicide. Its a subject that many people dont want to talk about, and, at the same time, it effects so many of us. The organization literally saves lives. I love that horsemen from all over the world have donated items to this charity event. The Pieta House has a staff of 170 and in 2013 nearly 4,000 people came to Pieta House for help. Thats amazing! Thanks Corey and Tim! Hmmmm, maybe Ill wear a set of those colors on the plane and get bumped up to First Class! :-)
