While at a function for Rare Diseases yesterday, the question was raised "do you remember the day your child was diagnosed" and almost everyone there raised their hands... I remember the day Joshua was diagnosed with PRS like it was yesterday... I remember the feelings I felt and thoughts and millions of questions running through my mind... I also remember our DR not being able to give us much info on the condition called PIERRE ROBIN SEQUENCE... I did know that I had to do what ever it takes for my child as well as for myself to learn more about PRS... I can say with all the love in my heart, that Joshua is my little PRS HERO... But looking back to that day, and seeing how far we have come as parents and advocates for our children... I ask this question... What would you say to a new parent who has just found out their baby has being diagnosed with PRS??
