While doing errands with Lilly today, I once again came across a homeless vet. I went and got him a Bojangles chicken meal and then gave him some information. Im going to pass this on for you as well. The VA is trying to do a big push to rehabilitate the homeless vets out there. Ive volunteered at the local VA and know they have some rooms available for those that are down on their luck. The VA is trying to turn it around to care for the vets (wanna fix it?...make The politicians get their medical from the VA...BUT I DIGRESS.) Just pass on to the homeless you see the address of the local VA. I offered to take him but he declined. I left him with the address of the Hampton VA. It breaks your heart at times to see the loss. This guy had some PTSD from the sound of him. After this much time, you tend to recognize certain similarities.
