While driving in the still of a beautiful clear night last night, my mind wondered as it usually does. I thought about throwing 20 years of the best part of my life away and now that Ive kicked the old gambling bug for 12 years, I thought of my mind, heart and life like one would a closet. I seemed to have a life full of time sensitive problems-a job I hated for 20 plus years and gambling took up 18 hours 7 days a week. I had no room to store anything else, no space for anyone or anything. I have lost 5 of the most important people in my life..dad, Trish, mom, my uncle Richard and Rob. Id like to think I have cleared out the clutter and am glad to have filled it up with a new batch of friends and renewing old ones. On my top shelf, there will always be Zach, AC, Lisa, Goose and Rob. Glad to fill my closet with Frank and Rick, Bill and Buddy, Karen and Lisa and Lori and Laura n Chris n Annie, Patti and Kevin n Jenny--all the rest. Clean your closets out, make some room in your life. A special lil friend out there, Dawn, pulling for you girl. Winter cleaning--a very good thing.
