While filling out a medical form today, my eyes went to the organ donation section. And it reminded me of my law school days, in London, when I had donated my body and organs for further scientific research, without discussing it with family. My dad was furious when he learned what I had done. And urged me to consult a religious scholar. I soon learned that I cant donate my body for various reasons (there might be an opposing view and Im not writing this to counter that.) One thing I had learned from that experience was that therere limitations to rationality when it comes to religious dos and donts. And one has to let go and accept the rulings.
