While humiliating for my children that they had to be driven to school today, it was perhaps enlightening for me. Myself and other Heelan parents alike have apparently paid too much tuition to afford hats, coats and gloves for their children on a day when there is a windchill advisory. No one got a cute hat from Santa?!!! Wait....theyre just like my children! Stupidity wins in adolescence every time😜 I know....too cool for frostbite! Like the homeless guy you likely didnt notice when you got to school who would die for one of your several pairs of gloves you choose not to wear! .....I guess Im feeling somewhat glad Im not alone but I am reminded of the privileges our kids have and the things they/we take for granted! Happy Back to School😄
