While in the U.S. Army, I discovered that they has a similar machine that would peel 100# bags of spuds the same way on a larger scale...this I know from personal experience while on KP duties (kitchen police). I was also supplementing my income on off-duty days by doing KP for people who were not so fond of performing their duty assignments in the kitchen. I was rewarded with great meals and an enduring friendship with the Mess Sgt...a good person to be on good terms with.
