While it is a persons prerogative to do what they want to do in life, this is a prime example of why Black Americans continue to fall behind in economics. We dont give back to ourselves as a whole. I read somewhere (cant recall exactly) that if we pooled our resources together (from the wealthiest to the poorest) people of our community, Black America would be the 4th richest nation in the world! But if you look at our communities, schools, and churches you would never be able to tell. Think about it!
