While statistics often show that more boys than girls receive an autism diagnosis there is a lot of research showing that autism occurs in girls but is often missed. And there are a lot of girls out there not accessing the supports and receiving the understanding they deserve. The Autism Society - Omaha Support Networks teen group has an amazing group of girls who have found each other and created some beautiful friendships!
