While the names of the two people killed Monday in a head-on collision on the Parks Highway in Denali National Park have yet to be released, News Mat-Su has learned that one of the victims is a Wasilla man. According to family friends, he was going to pick up a relative to bring home to spend Christmas with family. The 28-year-old leaves behind a wife and four young children. While his name hasnt been released, his widow, trying to cope with the overwhelming grief, has told friends that her late husband loved kerosene lanterns, and instead of flowers, she would love gifts of such lanterns, old or new, to bring some light and cheer to their home.
