While waiting for truck to get fixed I have been walking around going into local businesses and restaurants. I decided to do a little poll of my own. I began asking hotels, restaurants, automotive shops etc where the biggest source if their income came from. The majority all said said the same thing, the mine in Bagdad. All the hotels here are booked with contractors working at the mine. Restaurants are busy with contractors as well as other businesses. Tourism does account for a lot of the towns economic survival. It appears 50-50, mining and tourism. Interesting.....
