While we were in Mexico, I loved taking romantic strolls on the beach at nighttime. The breeze was great, the sound of the waves crashing were even better and of course just being with my love made it more than perfect. Our last night there, 5 mins into our stroll, we saw this emerge from the shoreline. It was amazing! It was huge! About 3.5 feet long and 3 feet wide and probably about 200 pounds! As a native NYer, its not everyday that you see sea turtles emerging from the ocean to nest their eggs. It made its way up to the middle of the beach and starting digging a deep hole to lay its eggs. What an amazing thing to witness! I just had to share!!
