While we’re thinking about the events of Nov. 18, 1999 … Do you remember just 8 days later, after the horror of the Bonfire collapse & the loss of 12 students & many more injured, the campus and Aggies everywhere were still in a state of shock … and it was Game Day at Kyle Field against tu, our long-time rivals. The Aggies won that game 20-16. But one of the most memorable things that day came at halftime with the beautiful tribute the Longhorn Band gave to A&M & those fallen Aggies – playing ‘Amazing Grace’ and holding Aggie banners high while removing their white hats in a show of respect. youtube/watch?v=4rLj3vw5fwI
