Whilst I wholeheartedly support PTI and IKs vision about Naya Pakistan, I strongly feel that some of the demands tabled before the Govt by PTI are somewhat practically implausible and too ambitious to be contemplated. Unless new and refind electoral reforms are put in place, mid term re-elections will concieveablly lead to the same results as in May 2013. I dont think any interim set-up can make radical improvements in the electoral system that will allow smooth, seamless and rigged-free elections in such a short span of time. Lets be realistic here. PTI may not get out of this this March what they originally hoped for but clearly they are leaving a big scar on the face of Govt. PMLN is now aware that they dont have a free pass which PPP may well have enjoyed in the past. And thats what reflects the success of this long march. If PTIs basic demands are listened to, I wouldnt mind seeing them sitting in opposition, continously challenge and probe Govt on their policies/practices and show them they are under the strict surveillance of common people of Pakistan. At the same time, they raise themselves in KPK as role model to look up to. We need leaders like Imran Khan. He is the only one who has awaken such a dormant and quiescent nation. InshAllah time will come when truth will prevail and falsehood will cease to exist. Thats when we will rise as a prosperous nation. Live Long PAKISTAN
