Whilst accepting that the appalling state of the hospital trusts has not improved in the three years that the coalition has been in charge the fact remains that, as the text shows, the death rate was unacceptably high under the last government with little admission of guilt for this by Mr Burnham.Parliament, as ever, needs to concentrate on the problems rather than spend a vast amount of time points scoring off the opposition or indeed trying to hide or deflect the truth in case they are found out. No wonder none of the three main political parties have much credibility with the public. Its like watching a slanging match between adolescents most of the time!
