Whistleblower. Im not even sure if its a good thing or bad thing anymore. Yes, corruption needs to be exposed, but does that make the one who does so just a snitch or a truth & justice seeker? The term seems to have a negative connotation these days, instead of meaning someone who calls you on your chit. I know language and its meanings are fluid (although I prefer stasis in most linguistic areas - it feels like our evolution of language is more lazy shortcuts than growth, to me, and I will never accept impact as a verb, regardless of common use :P ) but when meanings become unclear rather than simply changing, that feels more like chaotic devolution. So. Whistleblower. Snitch or hero?
