Who among us are gifted? Who better UNDERSTANDS? Pretty sure many of you frequent on Facebook would have already read the first part if this story. Even this post is inspired by a moment, which made me recall the old post. This has an addition towards the end! A very simple question to ask yourself and think about. Previous post wrote. There was a group of women at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband. The women were asked, ‘How many of you love your husbands?’ All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked, ‘When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?’ Some women answered today, some yesterday, some didn’t remember. The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text the following line to their husband: I love you, sweetheart. Then the women were told to exchange phones and read out the responding text messages. Here are some of the replies. 1. Who is this? 2. Eh, mother of my children, are you SICK? 3. I love you too. 4. What now? Did you CRASH the car again? 5. I don’t UNDERSTAND what you mean? 6. What did you do now? I won’t FORGIVE you this time. 7. ?!? 8. Don’t beat about the bush, just tell me HOW MUCH you need? 9. Am I DREAMING? 10. I asked you not to DRINK anymore. I’ll leave if you are TIRED of me. And my all time favourite 11. If you don’t tell me to whom this message is actually for, someone will DIE tonight. Now hold your thoughts right there. Sharing another moment... Yesterday after office I went to a park nearby, I sat down under the shade in a lawn, started reading through something on my iPad... Some 20 minutes I was diverted, I couldnt help notice a lovely couple coming that way, Laughing, Playing with each other like they almost forgot they were at a public place. They came sat on the bench next to the lawn, Boy was teasing her, messing her hair, Girl was pinching him on his nose.... Then girl rests her head on his shoulder as if she surrenders herself to him, the boy then gave a kiss on her forehead. Well they were behaving little more than the ordinary too much caring for each other or may be not, its ok for an young couple, at least I was disturbed, so I cleared my throat loud enough to let them know people are around. But to my surprise this had no effect on their state of being. Before I try something else to forcefully grab their attention they both stood up and walked away. Anyhow I should admit it was a mesmerising view to watch them walking by holding each others hand... Now I know you all are thinking whats SPECIAL in that...thats really Normal for a first date or so...Is int it..?? SPECIAL was when I came to know, later at the car park that they both were DEAF&DUMB, They cant speak to each other.. They cant listen to each other... But they can UNDERSTAND each other more than many of us actually do... We can speak, We can Listen. But dont care for understanding each other.... and after this I was sure of the reason. Only because we are not even trying to UNDERSTAND. Its not a matter of having spare time or some people are more busy with their routine or at office. Its more importantly what we PRIORITISE. Money can facilitate happiness at times but it never brings home true happiness. Find time for being with your loved ones.
