Who can see the faithfulness of God in his or her life? Who can - TopicsExpress

Who can see the faithfulness of God in his or her life? Who can attest to his unfailing love? Who can acknowledge the greatness of the Lord of our ancestors; the eternal God, supreme ruler, the merciful father who in his faithfulness, has called us into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. We did not choose him, but HE chose and appointed us so that we might go and bear fruit; fruit that will last, so that whatever we ask in HIS name the Father will give us (John 15:16) Indeed the one who calls us is faithful, and he will do it. (1 Thess 5:24). Our conscious awareness of HIS faithfulness provides a sure foundation for our undying commitment to bear fruits of righteousness and to hold firmly onto HIS promise even when the realities of life´s circumstances appear to dim our hope. We are told about the exploits of Joshua and Caleb in Numbers 13:30. These two men defied the majority report of hopelessness created out of human perspective to overwhelming life circumstances, and presented a message of hope and victory from a purely divinely inspired perspective. What makes the difference in our perception of victory and defeat in the face of a particular situation is the degree of our faith in HIM. Faith inspires us to smile when we are wounded, faith renews our strength when we are weary, faith fuels our passion for righteous living even when unrighteousness appears very rewarding here on earth. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb.11:1). Our father Abraham was not justified by works, but declared righteous through faith. Faith is the belief that all that we need, HE has already provided. Faith is total trust in and dependence on the faithful father to glorify HIMSELF in our circumstances. Faith is a life of thanksgiving to God no matter the level of our adversity. Faith is being grateful that you are alive and not dead. At age 75, Thomas Chisholm wrote; My income has not been large at any time due to impaired health in the earlier years which has followed me on until now. Although I must not fail to record here the unfailing faithfulness of a covenant-keeping God and that He has given me many wonderful displays of His providing care, for which I am filled with astonishing gratefulness. Reflecting on this great faithfulness of GOD, revealed through THE SON by the power of the HOLY GHOST, Chisholm, wrote the powerful hymn below which is sung by them who trust in their Lord daily and live by faith and not by sight https://youtube/watch?v=dTKIqmdfHSk
