Who do I need to slap over at Lifetime over this travesty that is the Aaliyah biopic? Seriously... yall gonna do a biopic of one of the most influential hip-hop artists of the 1990s and you dont even have the respect for her to do it based on a biography that the family at least doesnt hate? Yall chose the unauthorized biography that the family tried to halt publication of because it was so slanderous and omissive of major parts of her life? How are you even thinking of doing an Aaliyah biopic without addressing R. Kelly at all? Then you get skinny nobodys to portray Missy Elliot and Timbaland? Are you just trolling us at this point? Come on... I need yall to either do better or do nothing.
