Who doesnt like catching big fish? What about record setting MONSTERS beyond what most of us can even fathom... in a Kayak?!? Kayak angler Joel Abrahamsson (“Joel KayakAngler” on Facebook) is a Swede who was looking to return an element of extreme adventure to his fishing and decided to go after a Greenland Shark in Andorja, Norway. Joel ends up catching and releasing this new world record for the biggest fish ever caught from a kayak. The shark weighed 566kg and measure 401cm (or 1,225 pounds / 13’1” in length). Joel was fishing a PENN International 50 VSX rigged with Berkley Whiplash Pro 0,28 mm line and using a homemade rod designed for kayak fishing.
