Who ever came up with the saying, when will I ever have to use this or apply this stuff we learn in high school has never been to college and sounded pretty smart and impressive. I have used the word pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (yes it is a real word) from 9th grade science taught by Ms Cooper, I have used math equations to figure out problems, and today knowing the theory of structural functionalism which I learned in sociology taught by Rogers, had helped in given me props in my marriage and family class. So just remember you are taught those things for a reason, you just need to learn how to apply the knowledge and apply it correctly.
