Who here are my CrossFit peeps?! Heres a peek at part of my workout today. This year my training is changed up a little to kick off some new goals that dont involve going after 1 rep max PRs for strength but rather overall conditioning and just staying fit and healthy. With the schedule I maintain thats often away from home, and projects I want to focus on outside of the gym, hitting new PRs just isnt something I have the time to dedicate to consistently. Its good to change up what youre doing and not always assume your goals of the past fit with your current lifestyle and priority choices. A little more volume and less weight is the new approach. Lots of OTM work - or even one minute on one minute off- or moderately paced AMRAPs - just work and keep moving but dont get crazy. I love change. Its one of my favorite things.
