In tight economic condition any how he accomplished his graduation from GDC Kathua. since his father was a farmer he had to work hard to continue his studies so he started working as a teacher in 1994 and served as a teacher till 2001. In the same year he got selected at Naib tehsildar. he served as as NT at bhoond and then at bani till 2006. from 2006-13 he served as tehsildar in Bani, Billawar and Basohli for two, three and two years respectively. His tenure as a tehsildar considered as best period. How cooperative and helping he was can be guessed from an incident which is mention below. A student had to get his income certificate, and when that student approached patwari for the required certificates he was not given the desired one and he went with whatever he got from patwari to tehsildar. Neither tehsildar nor that student knew each-other. on checking the papers he found that these were not the paper which were required, he himself arranged all the required papers for the student and issued him the required certificate to the student who other wise would have not got the same until he would have bribed the clerks etc. This little deed is one among lacks such deeds where he has proved that he cares for the human and works for their welfare, even if it is at his personal. His caring nature can be judged from the fact also that being a tehsildar he was very popular for sloving problems of poor people in most backward and poltically ignored area in an amicable manner (i.e. through panchies) as those people cant efforts to go to the court and being uneducated they are hardly aware about the law and legislation. only such officer can do such acts who care for the the people and he is one of them. he became SDM in 2013 and served various parts of ladakh region. being SDM he undertook many such steps which proved to be very benificial for the people of the concerned area. It is because his honesty that he was requested by the public to contest the election and he did not give even a second thought to announce his resignnation from such a highly esteemed and lucrative job. he did it because he has the vigour to serve the people especially the needy ones. this is how a farmers boy become a political face of the hilly area. he joined BJP on November 01 and on the very second day BJP endorse him the partys candidate. he is none other than Sh.
