As a senior member of our Technology Services team you will be required to address client technical needs via: phone, email, remotely, and onsite. Incumbent must be prepared to participate in a Sales Engineering role, currently based on a rotational schedule. This is a full time position (Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm). After-hours commitments are dictated by client/project need, and participation in the on call rotation is required. Current rotation is every third week. Functional knowledge across a broad base of IT products is key to success in this position. Must be able to complete moderate to complex tasks without supervision or assistance. Must have reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of hands on experience working in a professional environment with the following technologies, with an emphasis on server and Exchange work: Required Skills: Minimum of 3 years supporting Windows XP, Vista and 7. Minimum of 3 years supporting Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 SQL Server 2005,2008 and 2012 Practical experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare VSphere, ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, OpenVZ, Xen) Cisco ASA 5505, Watchguard, Juniper, Sonicwall experience VPN Clients (IPSEC and SSL) Microsoft Exchange 2007 – 2013 (Hosted and On-Premise) Microsoft Office 2003 – 2013, 365. Active Directory (Group Policy, Users, Groups) Standard network services: DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, etc. Remote Desktop Services/Terminal Services Print Queue Configuration and TCP/IP Printing Backup strategies (Disk, Tape, Cloud) leveraging various vendors and products. Practical understanding and experience with routing, switching and transport utilizing various platforms and vendors.
