Who is up for some Adventure tomorrow? I made an over land route to Red Byrd Arch a few years ago and need to do a little maintenance check. It is 4 miles round trip, car to car. I have heard it rated as challenging although I feel it is moderate. I always go down to the Red River to have a look at a special place and then back the way we came. The climb from the River to the ridge IS formidable, even though I have cleared an amazing path. It normally takes me 2 hours to complete the round trip, although I would plan 3 for normal people.
