Who likes dystopian novels? Have Faith In Me by K.Pinson Coming 2015 A dystopian novel Isa Madd should have been celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday with family and friends, but instead found herself fighting for life. Screams of terror, a torn and bloodied party dress and only glowing red eyes illuminating the burnt out city were all signs that life as she knew it was over. When the disillusioned emerged from the shadows, the human race quickly fell to their knees in obedience. The only saving grace for human independence lies on the train; aptly named exalted. The Government had enough knowledge of the overtaking before it began to build a super train. Only the most skilled military members and most intellectual were allowed on. Lucky for Isa, her older brother Alden held high rank. Or maybe it wasnt so lucky after all. Slave on the train, slave to the disillusioned; Isa begins to wonder which is honestly worse. When an opportunity to jump presents itself, Isa takes the chance and runs with it. With her inability to bare children, diagnosed with Cervical Cancer and undergoing treatment just two years before, she knows they will throw her off anyway. The female purpose is that of reproduction alone in this new world and there are no exceptions. She travels the dark road with Alden and two female companions they meet along the way. They survive the best they can, relying on each other. It isnt until the lives of her group are threatened that Isas inner strength is discovered and her outward strength becomes clear. Q travels the same dark road alone. A traitor to the master race. He lost his life in a back alley a year before the world met its untimely end. But yet, here he walks. His body may have changed and the ravenous thirst may never be quenched, but his mind has never held such clarity. With Qs darkness camouflaging their movement and Isas light blinding their enemy, they may just stand a chance. Can the world become whole again or will the disillusioned take over completely? Paths are crossed, life is lost and hearts are stopped, but when hope is gone... Have Faith In Me.
