Who remembers Pandora? She was a neglected breeding dog that had suffered terribly before finally getting help. There is a link to her rescue story at the bottom of this post. We are thrilled to share an update from the wonderful family that adopted her... We adopted Pandora in June 2014 and it’s been wonderful having her as part of the family. When I first saw her on SCARS website it broke my heart to see this dog that looked so afraid and broken. I read her story and just knew I wanted to give her the loving home she deserved. We made the drive from Calgary to Edmonton to meet Terra and adopt Pandora. The minute Terra brought her out of her vehicle it was instant love! She was this happy, crazy wiggle bull. On our way home she even managed to wiggle her butt between the front seats and sit in my lap for some snuggles (I wasn’t driving thank goodness). She arrived home with us and got to meet her fur and human siblings and she just seemed to fit. Now wrestling games and games of tug are a regular occurrence in the house. She shares my pillow at night and follows me everywhere I go. She loves to play ball and go for walks. Also found out she loves loves loves water. She loves her raw dog food and snoozing in the afternoons on the leather couch. She likes to sit in the sun on the lounge chair too. She is definitely a queen and she is so loved and has brought so much joy to our house. -- Chrissy, family and Pandora Look at Me Now: scarscare.ca/pandora-2/ Rescue Story: scarscare.ca/pandora/
