Who remembers being wowed watching the moon coming up over Lake Michigan ? My friends and I would be down at Lunt beach in Chicago {lived a block away as a kid from the lake} and would be grilling and just having a grand old time...suddenly there was the moon! And depending on the phase...if we stayed out real late...the crescent moon would come up....looking like a u curve in the sky. That was even neater than when the full moon was rising!
