Who remembers going to Open House Parties in the 70s? Some poor parents going on vacation, their kid making and handing out flyers at school. Then Friday or Saturday night parking on a crowded residential street, walking toward a front yard and house full of kids, with a loud local band in the backyard and keg beer. Then like clockwork, the police breaking up the party at 10pm. Hard to believe this kinda thing happened, once upon a time in the valley.
