Who should we vote for? I have been asked this question by many people and my answer is simple. For the European Parliamentary election I use a seven point test before I vote - In this European election I would vote for a party that: 1. Has total conviction in Europe and its policies reflect the needs of the people of UK in Europe. 2.Will promote our individual rights to equality, human rights, civil liberty and freedoom. 3. Will negotiate and strike good deals for the UK on all aspects of UK economy, ethical foreign policies and safety and security for all its citizens. 4. Will demonstrate sensible and responsible approach to the minority communities in gerenal and the Muslim community in particluar. 5. Champions people´s right to self determination, peace and stability in all parts of the world and does not support neo-conservative agenda of war, domination and support of illegitimate rulers, dictators and despots. 6. Does not buckle under the right wing scare mongering and spreading of hate against Muslims. 7. Has the spine to stand up to the far right fascism and nazism that is sweeping Europe today. And when voting for the local election I have a three point test - I will only vote for a party that: 1. Represents the local interest and not just party political interest 2. Is run democratically and transparently in every aspect and not run by some shadowy characters from behind the scene or some village elders blackmailing with their tribes votes 3. Directly accountable to the local people and delivers on the promises locally. Please make sure UKip does not win today. Good luck voting
